The village is named after the famous Shabdan Baatyr - a Kyrgyz statesman and military leader, manap and just a person who helped the Kyrgyz people defeat the Kokand Khanate. Guesthouse "Archa" is designed for people who want to walk in the mountains or just admire the mountain landscape of Chon - Kemin Valley, ride horses, stay in silence and at the same time learn more about Kyrgyz history and culture.
